Let's Do Tea
Tell us a little bit about why you became interested in working from home?

When my husband and I were blessed with our second child in 1995, I resigned my position as Chief
Financial Officer of a gas and oil company to be a stay at home mom.  I wanted to make sure that I was
giving my best to my family and not my best to my career.  Two years later, we were blessed with our third
child and our family was complete.  While I have done an occasional accounting assignment over the years,
my heart and energy have been focused on my husband and three beautiful children.  I want them to know
they are unconditionally loved and that God has a purpose for each of their lives.

I learned about Let?s Do Tea when I was invited to a friend?s house for a ?tea party?.  I am a tea fanatic and
knew that day that I would either be a customer or a consultant.  Let?s Do Tea sells fabulous loose leaf teas
and tea accessories.  What made this company especially enticing to me was that their mission was to
emphasize hospitality and health.  I knew I could support that!  Additionally, Let?s Do Tea is a new company
and consultants have the opportunity to get in on the ground level of this home party plan business.  I have
been with this company for four months and we have already doubled in size.  I am so excited about what
2005 will bring.

What type of training, experience or education?
When you become a consultant with Let?s Do Tea, you will be trained by your sponsor.  This training may
include attending tea parties that your sponsor has scheduled, one-on-one mentoring, team meetings, etc.
Your training will be tailored to your specific situation.  We try to accommodate moms with children at home
wherever possible.

How do you work your business around your schedule?
The beauty of a home business is that you get to set your own hours.  I love that!  In order to use as little
family time as possible, I plan my tea parties during my children?s school hours.  This is not always possible,
but it is my first choice when talking with my hostesses.   I also delegate certain days to church activities and
do not schedule parties on those days.  This keeps  my life balanced and prioritized.

How do you build your business?
My main focus right now is to spread the word about Let?s Do Tea.  My goal is to sign and train, 5 more
consultants in the next six months.  I will be using internet advertising and trade shows to reach this goal.  My
favorite part of my job is to train new consultants.  I love developing training tools and implementing new
ideas.

What is your greatest sales tool?
My greatest sales tool is to have fun.  I don?t have to go to work, I get to go to tea.  Also, I absolutely love
our tea.  I have never tasted any better.  It is easy to sell what you love.

What advice for other Moms looking to work from home?
I would advise moms who are looking to work from home to find a product they absolutely believe in and
would have fun selling.  Then look for a company with a mission statement that is consistent with your beliefs
and a program that will work with your life-style
.

Where do you see the future leading you in your home business?
It is my goal to be a regional manager for Let?s Do Tea.  I see unlimited growth potential for this company
and I am excited to be part of it.
